THEREdesign's experience creating spaces that express corporate identity convinced PrepMD to hire them to design a new training center and office headquarters. PrepMD wanted their facility to express their value as a leader in the medical device training industry. With their sophisticated technical expertise and independent, up to the minute industry knowledge, PrepMD attracts a high caliber student and their facility needed to communicate the advanced education that their graduates receive through their programs.

THEREdesign began their work with PrepMD by engaging in a branding exercise to fully understand the purpose, motivation, goals and target users. A simulated operation room-laboratory, seen from the entry, immediately communicates the hands-on experience students receive. A Programmer Bar utilizes cutting edge communications technology, allowing nation-wide recruiting and job placement through telecommunications. There is a library reading room complete with medical reference materials and periodicals, a student lounge, offices and conference spaces. Classrooms are equipped with the latest presentation and learning technologies all of which reinforce the PrepMD brand image as leaders in medical technology training.

The reaction of the students and staff to the space has been resoundingly favorable and since their opening in January inquiries and applications have seen tremendous growth. The founders attribute a large portion of their quick success to the ability of their facility to quickly communicate PrepMD’s values and mission.
