Opening the wall between the kitchen and dining room allows one to see from one end of the house to the other. This vastly enlarges the perceived space of the unit. An existing attic space was renovated to become one large space, divided into sitting/study area, bedroom and bathroom. The quiet, sky-lit attic bedroom has a contemporary Scandinavian feeling and contrasts well with the more traditional detailing which exists on the floor below.
Scope: 1,400 s.f. renovation
