The walls around the standard-issue galley kitchen were taken down, opening it up and making the entire living space appear much larger. The back wall of the kitchen is finished in white cabinets, letting it flow into the hall closet, which extends the space and reduces visual clutter. The slate covered plumbing chase anchors the sculptural element of the sink and table peninsula in the space, allowing it to float within the room. The cherry dining table can seat 2-5 and doubles as extra counter space.
